Music

Music education is an important component of a well-rounded curriculum. At Jupiter Academy, students in preschool through fifth grade receive formalized instruction that encompasses the basic source of music theory. Middle school students have an opportunity to take music classes as an elective. Our music curriculum includes the study of instruments, classical composers, opera, rhythm and song.

Visual Arts

Students at Jupiter Academy receive art instruction every week and are challenged to be creative. Art education includes the instruction of both the principles and elements of design, and students experiment with a variety of mediums to discover texture, depth, design, and color. An introduction to the masters and their work is presented so that students will have knowledge of the famous artists of the world. Students’ work is on display in our library and throughout the campus and we encourage students to display their talents in the community. Student work is submitted to various community events such as Arti –Gras and Sunfest.
