Jupiter Academy is keeping our students on the cutting edge of the latest practical technology in the field of education. Our goal is to incorporate technology in the curriculum whenever possible. We are using SMART boards and Panaboards in our classrooms which are interactive whiteboards that allow the teacher to interface with the students using his/her iPad and having it projected onto the board. All middle school students and those of any grade involved in the gifted classroom will have use of an individual iPad which places educational sites from around the world in each student’s hand. In addition, classrooms are equipped with Student Response Systems which allows immediate evaluation and feedback between teacher and student. All of this technology is in addition to our well-equipped computer lab which all students have access to several times per week under the very capable leadership of our technology teacher.
