Bank Day

To encourage money management among young people, our 4th grade students assist representatives from Bank Atlantic every Wednesday on our campus. The students act as tellers and collect money from students making deposits into their savings accounts. Children learn how to save their earned money.

Community Service

The students give back to the community through various community projects.

D.A.R.E.

Our sixth grade students participate in D.A.R.E. which is a collaborative effort by D.A.R.E. certified law enforcement officers from the Jupiter Police Department and the educators of JA to offer an educational program in the classroom to prevent or reduce drug abuse and violence among children and youth.

JA5

Our fifth grade students learn to manage money through a corporation that was established called JA5. Students sponsor the school lunch program, their responsibilities include the collecting and ordering of the lunches, depositing the funds and managing the checkbook. The money from this program helps to defray the cost of the fifth grade safety patrol trip to Washington D.C.

Peer Mentoring

Our Middle School students take every opportunity to be role models to the younger children throughout the campus. The middle school students are given the opportunity to go into the classrooms and mentor to the students each week. Our Middle School Program promotes an opportunity to develop and nurture relationships with younger children through interactive activities.

Safety Patrol

In the spring of each year, fourth Grade students will be selected to serve as Safety Patrols for Jupiter Academy during their fifth Grade year. These students earn this privilege by maintaining our standards of “Excellence in Education. The Safety Patrols will help enforce the general rules of our school. Safety Patrols are responsible for morning arrival and departure throughout the student body.

Scripps National Spelling Bee

Stock Market Simulation

The Florida Stock Market Simulation is a motivation approach to learning about the American economy. Our Middle School students participate in an exciting investment simulation that allows them to develop and manage a hypothetical $100,000 investment portfolio, as well as compete for the best portfolio performance.

Trailblazers

Our walking club meets every Tuesday morning at Maplewood Park. Students and parents are encouraged to join this club to become physically fit.
