Before Care and After Care
Jupiter Academy provides before school care to our students who arrive between 7:00 – 8:15 a.m. each morning. Students in first through eighth grades are dismissed to their classrooms at 8:15 a.m. Jupiter Academy students have several options for after-school hours. They may attend various clubs, intramural programs, power study, tutoring services, or an after-school care program. Jupiter Academy also provides camp like activities on days when school is not in session. There is a charge for most of these activities. Examples of clubs that have been and are currently offered are: Power Study, Social Skills Club, Intramurals (soccer, floor hockey, basketball, etc), Spanish Club, Music Lessons, Homework Center and a structured Aftercare Program. Power study is a program that gives students teacher supervised time to get their homework started and/or completed. This program is from 3:14 to 4:15 Monday through Thursday when school is in session. Tutoring services are provided for one on one guidance set up on an as need basis. The Jupiter Academy After-school Care Program is available for our students until 6 p.m.
